Unnamed methods evaporate. You remember a loop. You do not remember a thread, a Notion doc, or the fourteenth tip in a carousel. When the week is on fire you will not open a course. You will open the chat and do whatever you did last time. If last time had a name, you might do it again.
The DeepSkill Loop is four words: See, Structure, Stress, Ship. It is how to think with AI on work that has to get paid. Not how to use a model. How to keep the model from becoming the work.
See — frame the work before the model
What decision is actually being made? A landing that has to take $900 this week is a decision. “Write me a homepage” is not. Good has to be sayable before anyone types: who it is for, what they buy, what a stranger would understand in five seconds. If you skip this, you are decorating a guess. The model will decorate it fluently.
See is the part tutorials skip because it does not look like AI. It looks like a brief. That is the point. Prompts are downstream of a brief. No brief, no job — only text.
Structure — give it a job, then a prompt
Role, constraints, length, and the list you will use to reject the answer. Write the list first. Then the prompt. The prompt is the last sentence, not the first.
A useful list is ugly and short. For a paid landing: the price must appear; one action, the paid one; no number you did not put in the brief; if a competitor can paste their name in, it dies. That list is Structure. The paragraph you paste into ChatGPT is just how you ask for a draft that can fail the list.
Stress — refuse the fluent draft
The dangerous output is not garbage. Garbage is easy to throw away. The dangerous output is the paragraph a tired client will almost accept: a job description, a fake “50+”, a “book a call” where the yes was a price. Fluency is the default. Rejection is the skill.
Stress means you quote the line and kill it for a reason a stranger could follow. Not “I don’t like the vibe.” “This offers a call. The job was $900.” If you cannot say how you will reject the answer, you were collecting text. That argument is the evaluation essay.
Ship — make it leave the window
An offer, a brief, a decision, a page a client can put live. If it never leaves the chat, it does not count. The week is not a folder of drafts. Ship is the only step the invoice can see.
People stop at Stress and call it taste. Taste without Ship is a mood board. The Loop is finished when something can be paid for, signed, or published.
Why four, not seven
Seven-step frameworks are courses. You will not hold seven steps at 11pm. Four is a breath. See is the decision. Structure is the job. Stress is the refusal. Ship is the artifact. If a lesson does not map onto one of these, it is not ours. We will not add a fifth to look complete.
How to run it on a Monday
Pick one job that has a yes this week. Write the decision in one sentence. Write five kill-conditions. Then open the model. Draft. Run the list. Kill what fails. Send what remains. That is the whole method. There is a full reconstruction — a two-week homepage sprint — on the Method page.
